Places for Halloween Fun


Salem, MA

Famous for being the center of the Witch Trials of 1692 this town is one of the best places to go for spooky historical tours and festive Halloween fun. Their are plenty of tours, museums and costume balls to attend. if Stay in the historic downtown area so you can walk everywhere. And Salem in the Fall couldn't be more beautiful. The leaves start changing mid month so book your trip accordingly.

Where to stay

Hawthorne Hotel

The charming historical Hawthorne Hotel is in the center of it all and usually books up almost a year in advance so you have to start planning long before your trip. They are a pet friendly hotel which you can't beat. And they throw a Halloween Ball every weekend throughout October in their Grand Ballroom.

Walt Disney World

Disney's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is a great event to share with your kids. The Magic Kingdom is transformed into a Halloween village with parades, fireworks, trick or treating, and all you and your kid's favorite characters dressed in costume.

Open mid September through October.

Disneyland throws a similar event for all of you on the west coast.


Screams
Screams is the world's largest Halloween Theme Park with four haunted houses, a maze of the macabre, ghoulish graveyard, and trail of terror. There is also rides, games, fortune tellers, and face painters. Located just outside Dallas.
Open Fridays and Saturdays October-November 1.

Halloween Horror Nights
Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Orlando has won best Halloween Event in '06, 08', '09, and '10. Along with Universal California both put on the best in haunted entertainment. From over the top haunted houses, scare zones, roaming creepy actors, parties, and rides. Not for kids or the faint at heart.
